Today was the last day of Spring Break
and i had an absolute blast
it was so relaxing
and lets just say, my new tool of the trade lately is my camera.
i'm absolutely obsessed with it.
i'm in progress of a new painting, and i can't seem to get aroudn to finish it
because i'm so captivated by the wonderful weather and landscape outside lately!

I just love that instant satisfaction you can get from capturing exactly what you want to capture, and have the results sitting in your computer within a matter of minutes.
as opposed to the hours or days or even weeks of work attempting to portray exactly what you want on a canvas, and never really quite getting it perfectly. But don't get me wrong, i absolutely love painting, and i love that constant challenge.
but photography has deffinitely taken me by suprise.

I just realized that there's this thing called a "journal" on here.
haha, i'm spacey.
So to start off my first journal, i would like to say
"WAZZZZZZZZZZZZZUP?!?!?!?!"

plus I'd like to add that i'll be on here more often than i have in the past;
got those creative juices flowing, and i've got to take advantage of them.
I'm fiddling around with new avenues of art, so i'm an amateur, but i'd like to
keep practing till i create something i'm so proud of that i'd photocopy it and post it everywhere in the city to brag haha.

I love painting, mainly with acrylics, and occationaly with watercolours, and i love charcoal, other than that, i'm pretty lame when it comes to sketching and drawing, and colouring with anything thats not 'wet'.

My Style changes like the wind, but theres one thing thats concrete: My love of Art.
